Dimity Stoyle wins Round-1 Heat 1 of the 2014 Trestles World Tour Event Swatch Womens Pro Trestles Trestles World Tour Event 2014 San Onofre, California Coverage by Pro Surf Blog Dimity Stoyle, out of Australia, wins the 1st heat of this historical surfing event. This event is historical in the sense that the womens world tour has never held an event at this location. Only the men have been competed at this venue in the past. Dimity Stoyle had to work hard to beat out two strong Hawaiin surfers, Malia Manuel and Alessa Quizon. You will see these women pull off floaters, strong turns, bottom turns, hacks on perfect Trestles waves. The waves were in the 2-4 foot range with glassy oceans surface and long lines. You might also notice other nuances related to this surf spot such as the the rocky shoreline that can make it a little tricky to walk-in after surfing.
