This weekend I set out on my first solo overlanding trip through some of the most beautiful parts of Southeast Missouri. I began in the Mark Twain National Forest before heading to Big Spring Campground for the night. On day two, I explored the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, drove through a large, very pretty conservation area, and wrapped up the trip with a trail run to the historic Alley Springs. From scenic forest drives to peaceful riverside camping, this trip was the perfect mix of adventure and solitude.
