Summer may not have gone to plan, and many seasonal routes are winding down, but the thrill of spotting aircraft is far from over. This visit delivered a fantastic lineup: Gulf Air, Air China, Azerbaijan Airlines, Uganda Airlines, and plenty more. But the real kicker? At 8:19, a Norse Atlantic 787 touched down from Cape Town. I had no idea Norse was flying that route from Gatwick, completely unexpected and such a cool surprise. Then came the drama. At 9:10, an EasyJet A320 had to go around, and digging into it revealed that BA2161 to Islamabad had a rejected takeoff and returned to the gate. The reason remains a mystery, but watching the A320 maneuver above the grounded 777 was a sight to behold. That flight eventually departed three hours later than scheduled And just when I thought the day was done, I caught a bonus clip I wasn’t even planning to film. As I was at the train station, I spotted an Azerbaijan Airlines Boeing 767 lining up for takeoff, and i decided to film it taking off.
