Join me on my journey as I attend the AWS Summit in London and compete in AWS GameDay: F1 League! In this vlog, I take you through my experience from start to finish, sharing all the exciting moments, cool technology, and fascinating insights I gained throughout the day. After attending the introductory keynote, I had the opportunity to interview Rob Smedley, who explained to me how AWS is supercharging Formula One's data to create a better fan experience. In the interview, Rob talked about GameDay and how the real data from the 2022 Spanish Grand Prix was being used in the competition. I learned a lot from him, and I'm excited to share our conversation with you in an upcoming video. Later, I got involved with AWS GameDay: F1 League, where teams competed to complete technical challenges known as "quests" using the AWS Management Console. I had a fantastic time and even got to appear on the AWS Livestream to talk about my GameDay experience! I also explored some of the other exciting stands at the summit, including the national history museum's use of AWS to help with their research and the DeepRacer stand, where I tested out my driving skills on a self-driving car that uses machine learning to learn the fastest route around a racetrack. I even got to speak with Heather about the competition on who can train a model to race this AI-powered car around the track the fastest.
