GIZ: Programme Returning to New Opportunities supports returnees in Iraq. 2019

The German Centre for Jobs, Migration and Reintegration (GMAC-Iraq) was established in 2018 as part of the Programme “Returning to New Opportunities” (RNO), financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), to provide a range of services to support returnees who voluntarily return to their home countries from Germany, the EU as well as the host communities. The Programme RNO supports returnees in their economic, social and psychological reintegration in Iraq. The initiative focuses on individual advice, from preparing returnees prior to leaving Germany to making a new start in their country of origin.
