My name is Bindu, my mother was diagnosed with Brain tumor. We are being treated by Dr Rahul Lath – neurosurgeon. After a brain scan, we were told that she had fluid in her brain and also had a tumor. My mother’s name is Ms Vijayalakshmi. We very terrified with the news. But Doctor has been very considerate and expressive due to which we were able to overcome our fear. He clearly explained the condition without scaring us and told us that it can be very easily managed. We only came to know later that it was major procedure. Only today did I realize that the saying: “Doctors are like Gods” was actually true. The surgery went on for over 8 hours with a successful outcome. We are very happy about that. The treatment we received here has been amazing. Apollo is like a one stop solution for all the healthcare needs. We do not need to go out for anything else. Earlier we went to Global Hospitals, but as they did not have an MRI and other services we had to go out. Our friends suggested us to go to Apollo Hospitals and we are very happy with our decision where we do not have to run around as everything is available here. The nurses have been very supportive to us in everything such as their services, giving us clarity in any doubts. The doctors and nurses have been very helpful throughout our stay. My mom is feeling much better now although the recovery will take some more time. The doctors have given us a lot of hope. We are very happy to be here for our mothers treatment especially with the assurance that she will be cured!
