Story of Judson

Judson was a vibrant, bright boy who had complete and normal function of his body until 29 months of age. At the end of May 2007, Jud’s body began to unexpectedly and rapidly deteriorate. In less than 5 months he became fully paralyzed, blind, mute, and unable to swallow. It was discovered in July 2007, during his illness, that Judson suffered from Krabbe disease: a rare, genetic, incurable leukodystrophy. This video depicts our beloved boy before the onset of Krabbe along with the clips that show the destruction of the disease on Judson's small frame.
