The Lemelson Foundation is supporting a new art exhibit, “No Prior Art: Illustrations of Invention,” presented by LAPL and The Library Foundation of Los Angeles. This exhibit draws on the library’s rich patent and intellectual property resources and showcases loaned and specially commissioned works from inventors across the country. At the opening reception on September 12th, Foundation Vice President Dr. Rob Lemelson shared insights about his father, the prolific inventor Jerome Lemelson. In 1992, Jerome and Dorothy Lemelson founded The Lemelson Foundation to inspire a new generation of inventors to create products to change our world for the better.
