In 2019 Euan and Reuben made applications for degrees in architecture, receiving offers from universities including UCL’s Bartlett school, Sheffield, and Edinburgh; and in the Autumn of 2020 they both began the undergraduate course at the University of Cambridge. Taking an architectural metaphor, this is like pouring the foundation of the building that is your application. This foundation has three key parts: Absorbing: taking in other people’s ideas and inspirations, and thinking about lots of different fields of knowledge with an architectural perspective. Observing: paying attention to the architecture that you interact with and how it influences the people who use it, including you!
