Hello and welcome to Basic Fishing from New Zealand. Welcome to the 1st video of Basic Fishing 2024 where I decided to showcase my adventure with Lee on the beach where it took place during Spring at the Manukau Harbour. The objective was to try and land some tasty edible fish to take home but that proved to be slow but I did land myself a legal snapper and trevally. Because that fishing was slow, I decided to join Lee's mission in landing sharks. He landed a 7 gill shark and school and I was able to get a few sharks as well. It was a great day's fishing, considering the fact that it has been a long time since I've been surfcasting.
