I finally got my gastric lap band removed | Hospital to home

Hey guys as part of my journey to weightloss, I wanted to share my story towers the removal of my lap band. It was a long 15 years and many years over due. The lap band was put in when I was 236lbs to help me lose weight, it did in fact help however, I became extremely anemic and caused other health issues because of the nutrition deficiency. I lost a lot of muscle mass because of the Inability to eat much. My body became very frail and I ended up getting chronic joint pains. I eventually was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and Raynaud’s disease and eventually Lupus. I’m not saying it’s all interrelated however, studies have show that mal-nutrition can be a source to a lot of diseases as so. I was blessed to have found this wonderful surgeon and PA who assisted in the diagnosed of the band slippage and removal. It was long awaited. Hopefully now I can start healing and get ready for my tummy tuck in 6 weeks. I still can’t believe it! Keep following me for my next journey and videos.
