China Sentences Ming Crime Family: 11 to Death for Scam Empire #crime #crimestory Discription---Must Read It. In one of the harshest crackdowns on cross-border crime in decades, a Chinese court has sentenced 11 members of the notorious Ming family to death for running a massive scam empire based in Myanmar. The Ming family once controlled parts of Laukkaing, a border town turned into a hub for gambling, drugs, and online scam centres. Known for their brutal tactics, the clan forced thousands of workers into compounds like the infamous Crouching Tiger Villa, where victims were beaten, imprisoned and forced to carry out cyber scams targeting people around the world. Chinese authorities say the Ming family generated more than 10 billion yuan ($1.4 billion) through fraud, money laundering and trafficking. The trial, held in Wenzhou, sentenced 39 members of the family in total: 11 to death, 5 to suspended death sentences, 11 to life imprisonment, and the rest to prison terms ranging from 5 to 24 years. This verdict follows Myanmar’s 2023 crackdown, when insurgent offensives and government pressure forced the arrest and handover of crime bosses to China. The Ming patriarch, "Ming Xuechang", killed himself before capture. Beijing says the ruling is a warning to all cross-border criminal groups. Human rights critics, however, question whether such extreme sentences will truly end what the UN calls the global “scamdemic.” With many scam operations already moving to Cambodia and beyond, the fight is far from over. 👉 Watch the full story of power, crime and punishment on China’s border. #ChinaNews #MingFamily #DeathPenalty #CrimeSyndicate #MyanmarScams #Laukkaing #ScamEmpire #TrueCrime #CrossBorderCrime #ChinaCourt #Scamdemic #DrugTrafficking #TelecomFraud #ChinaExecution #MafiaFamily #GlobalCrime #CrimeDocumentary #JusticeInChina #MyanmarConflict #ScamCentres #CrouchingTigerVilla #ChineseCourt #CapitalPunishment #AsiaCrimeNews #CyberScams
