The birds are singing once more as mating season will soon be here. It's time to get bird boxes put up and cleaned out to encourage bird residents in your garden this spring. It was National Nest Box Week just recently, so there's no better time to get your garden ready for the arrival of little chicks! In this video I cover how to clean out an existing bird box and offer advice on which bird box to buy and how to site it in your garden. EDIT: I just learnt that the RSPB recommend that you do not clean your bird box past the end of January (I thought it was Feb!).
