Hillary Peterson & Gary Fish led an online presentation via Teams called, Garden Detectives: Identifying Beneficials, hosted by Merryspring Nature Center on Tuesday, March 3rd. Hillary Peterson, IPM Specialist for DACF Plant Health Programs, will discuss scouting techniques and tools to identify beneficial insects and other natural allies, while Gary Fish, State Horticulturist, will highlight native plants that support these important creatures. Learn practical ways to observe, encourage, and protect beneficials in your garden from the comfort of your home. This talk is part of Merryspring’s Online Winter Talk series, generously sponsored by Camden Riverhouse Hotel. Thanks to the generosity of the Cascade Foundation, the talks will also be recorded for future viewing on our YouTube channel.
