The age difference between the chicks was about 8 days. Different ages of owlets require different feeding. It's amazing how moms handle it - they know exactly who they want to feed at the moment. Kiki clearly demonstrates this in the video at 10:40. Owls grow very fast. It took only about three weeks (from July 5 to July 28 ) as eggs and white lumps turned into large owlets (14:15).
