Session with Dutch drummer and teacher Willem van der Krabben (‪@willemvanderkrabben‬). Before going to the Conservatory of Amsterdam Willem studied at the Fontys Conservatory of Tilburg and got his bachelor of music teacher in 2010. He won the Jacques de Leeuw price (teaching) that same year. He didn't wait too long before starting off at the Conservatory of Amsterdam (jazz department) and graduated in 2013. From that moment on Willem's career took off. He played with various artists such as Jett Rebel, Tim Akkerman, Karsu, Margriet Sjoerdsma, Oh Thunder and HYB to just name a few. Playing big stages, touring through the Netherlands, doing studio sessions, writing sessions and last but not least producing. Besides being active in the popscene Willem also played in musicals and theater as a drummer. He participated in Flashdance, Hartsvrienden, The Buddy Holly Story (Albert Verlinde) and a theater tour with Under The Streetlamp in the USA. On the side Willem is involved with social, cultural and educative music projects such as 'Meer Muziek In De Klas' and is a drum teacher. We hope you enjoy his session! Credits: Scary Goldings.
