MEMORIES: HAJJ 2011 WITH MAWLANA SHAYKH HISHAM KABBANI

Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem Mawlana began the hajj in 2011 landing in Madinatul-Munawwara, the Illuminated City of the Prophet of Allah Sayyidina Muhammad (ﷺ). There Mawlana used to go for Salat in the Mosque and stay behind the Rawdat ash-Sharifa between Maghrib and Isha. After Isha Mawlana would make Ziyarah of Rasoolullah (ﷺ). Then he would often sit outside the masjid just south of the Green Dome where Shaykh Saheb would recite Holy Qur'an and others would recite qasidas in praise of the Prophet (ﷺ). People would see Mawlana and come and request his du`a. Some would join the group and sit for a long while, listening to the recitaiton and taking in the immense baraka of such a visit. Mawlana's guide in Madina, Hajj Asim, would point out the important stations in the mosque as well as historic landmarksrelated to the Prophet (ﷺ) and his Sahaba, many of which are unknown.
