This video was meant to be a simple overview of a HanBon Forge custom wakizashi, which I ordered not too long ago. It was their most basic offering with minimal upgrades from the standard, those being the synthetic leather ito (+$20) and silk sageo (+$10), making the total cost of this sword $127 USD. For the price, I have to say it was well worth it. The fact that there were no glaring issues aside from the uneven termination of the bohi, tells me that there isn’t a place to get a sword of this quality for less anywhere else. If you are looking for a budget backyard-cutter or even a functional display piece, HanBon Forge just might be worth your consideration!
