ACTION NOW: Access to Information in Namibia Advocacy Video
The Constitution of the Republic of Namibia, under Article 21 of Chapter Three, states that “(1) All persons shall have the right to (a) Freedom of speech and expression, which shall include freedom of the press and other media (...). However, the Constitution does not make provision for the right to Access to Information.” Thus, at the beginning of April 2018, the ACTION Coalition embarked on a mass sensitization campaign on Access to Information in Namibia called, #ACTIONNow. This production includes scenes of recorded post-workshop interviews with some participants. The production highlights community voices as they demand for an ATI Law.
