This is my 23rd Christmas vlog / YouTube Vlogmas and features me going to the zoo with my YouTuber friend Evan. It was a funny video to edit. Basically, a couple of years ago, we gave Bristol Zoo some beautiful Gouldian finches, but they were changing their bird exhibits and so couldn't house them any more. So we went to collect them and enjoyed a free day out at Bristol Zoo afterwards. We saw the gorilla's bum, the meerkats, butterflies, lions, huge fish in the aquariums section, flamingos, parrots, hippos, tapirs, capybara, and a cute penguin called Norman. We also fed some of Santa's reindeer by hand, although Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer had just flown away, apparently. After getting lost in the maze, we ate burger and chips in the zoo restaurant, and got some cuddly toy lemurs in the gift shop (thanks Santa). If you live in the Bristol area and have young children / kids, then the zoo is a really good family day out. There are lots of YouTube videos about Bristol Zoo and its many, many animals and seasonal events. When we came home, we made some Christmas chocolates in festive silicone bakeware moulds from Lidl, in the shapes of love hearts, snowman, bells and Xmas things like that. Then at the end of this Vlogmas vlog, I tested out Evan's mind reading powers, to see if he really was telepathic, or not.
