It's the biggest skip in the history of the game that doesn't use the Debug Room. We complete Midgar as normally and then perform the "Chocolom Glitch", a glitch that allows us to unmount the chocobo in unintended areas around Midgar. Then we perform certain movements and actions to load and unload certain parts of the world map to glitch it(for more info see AceZephyr's Kalm Skip Explanation Video). Once performed we end up in front of the City of the Ancients, at the end of CD1, basically skipping all the rest of CD1 including Kalm, Mythril Mines, Junon, Costa Del Sol, Corel, Gold Saucer, Cosmo Canyon, Nibelheim, Rocket Town and the Temple of the Ancients, culminating in a ~2 hour timesave. Obviously our party is very low level and without any ressources at this point so the objective from here is to survive under brutal circumstances while still being as fast as possible. The goal of this run was to mimic a potential route on PSX as close as possible and using the Power Battle Booster was little as possible. Since the skip is very new and the route very experimental I still had to use it here and there to make up some shortcomings, hope you enjoy!
