Going over the many options going out at the University of Florida in Gainesville. There are 3 clubs and 1 bar that are available for 18-21 year olds, while most other places require you to be 21. From the bars in Midtown, clubs in Downtown, the frats, and even the occasional party from a sports club. The most popular spots in GNV are JJ's Tavern, MacDinton's, White Buffalo, and DownTown Fats. Surf club also hosts some good parties, and all the frats on frat row are great options for girls. Frats usually have bars in the back and are lots of fun, though you will need to pay a LOT of money to be admitted (or not be let in at all, as in most cases). Notice: A lot of people use fake IDs to get into the 21+ bars. This is really risky, as sometimes police raid bars and owning a fake ID is illegal. I have gotten by fine in Gainesville without a fake ID, as the sport club parties and frats with low cover are easy to come by. All information in this video is anecdotal, either received from my friends or from articles online.
