Hi Possibly the most crowded and noisy town was an impression I carried about Kathmandu city of Nepal, the first time I was here in 2013. Over the years, Kathmandu Valley have evolved and so has my perception about the capital city of Nepal as I have seen it growing on every visit of mine. But, you know what I like the most about Kathmandu? Retaining it's old world charm despite rising tourism. There is a reason why Kathmandu city is not only national capital of Nepal but known as its cultural capital. I mean walk any street of Kathmandu and it's almost impossible to not feel the vibe if it's local community: The Newars, at every corner. Kathmandu city of Nepal is known as the living museum of Newar community and couldn't agree more .
