After much testing I am inclined to say that the EX30 over-reports by over 10%. Today while uploading this clip I went for a ride and did some comparing with an EXN and after much testing I have now set it to -13%. With the EXN beeping at 80% PWM I am still barely at 70% PWM on the EX30. The EXN was set to -7% but I have always felt that -8% would be more correct. The EX30 is amongst the fastest out there and also thanks to the dynamic tiltback mod it is also one of the safest. Getting this wheel to move took me quite a bit of getting used to. The suspension is decent and gets the job done. There is aftermarket suspension available for those who like to tune and fiddle. I would say that the suspension style of the Sherman S and the Commander Pro (and V13) is superior. The Sherman S (and probably the Commander Pro) are great allrounders that can do anything. The EX30 cannot because the battery boxes and especially the metal bits under them are a bit low and can be in the way sometimes. The suspension is vulnerable to getting dirty so I will have to look into that. It is most likely dirt that is causing the suspension to leak oil. The screws on the bushing were way too tight as were the friction screws. After loosening them the suspension is much smoother. The CST tire on this fat rim is a dream to ride and super stable. Pad placement and putting velcro on is hell so I ordered fairings. If you are looking for beastly performance (which takes quite some practice to access) then the EX30 is the way to go. Range is good as well and doing cruises with S22 riders I usually have half battery left while they are almost all the way down to 0%. PWM is user adjustable and the dynamic tiltback follows the PWM.
