In 2004, scientists mapping the oldest light in the universe found something that shouldn't exist - a massive cold patch in the cosmic microwave background radiation, hiding in the constellation Eridanus. Years later, astronomers discovered what was behind it: an almost incomprehensibly vast void, nearly 2 billion light-years across, containing almost nothing. The physics connecting them is well understood. The problem? The math doesn't add up. And after two decades of investigation, nobody can fully explain why. This calming long-form space documentary explores the CMB Cold Spot, the Eridanus Supervoid, the integrated Sachs-Wolfe effect, and what happens when the standard model of cosmology meets a question it can almost — but not quite - answer.
