You are a Route manager for Reliable Delivery, a parcel delivery company in Ottawa, Canada, that provides parcel delivery services to other businesses and individuals throughout Canada. You are going to modify some advanced reports to improve the formatting and delivery of information. Open the DriverSalary report in Report Layout View and complete the following: a. Add a title. b. Modify the title by deleting the word "Report". c. Bold the title. d. Center-align the DriverID label and the data in the DriverID text box. Save and close the DriverSalary report. 2. Open the DriverList report in Design View and complete the following: a. Use 2 as the number of columns. b. Use a Down, then Across layout. Save and open the DriverList report in Print Preview, and then close the DriverList report. 3. Open the ProvinceList report in Design View and complete the following: a. Remove the control layouts from the controls in the Report Header. b. Remove the Page Header and Page Footer sections and all controls in them. Resize the Province Descriptions label in the Report Header section so that the right edge is at the 3.5" mark on the horizontal ruler. Save the ProvinceList report. 4. With the ProvinceList report still open in Design View, complete the following: a. Select all controls on the Detail section and footer of the report and change the font color to Automatic (Black). b. Set the Alternate Back Color of the Detail section to Green 1 (7th column, 2nd row in the Standard Colors palette). Save and view the ProvinceList report in Print Preview as shown in Figure 1, and then close the ProvinceList report. 5. Create a new report in Design View using these options: a. Set the Record Source property to the ClientDays query. b. Add all the fields from the Field List to the top of the Detail section of the report at about the 2" mark on the horizontal ruler. Save the report with the name ClientDays and close it. 6. In the Navigation Pane, copy the ClientList report and paste it, using ClientInfo as the name. 7. Open the ClientInfo report in Design View and complete the following: a. Delete the two text boxes in the Page Footer section. b. Move the ID label and the ClientID text box so their right edges are at the 2.5" mark on the horizontal ruler. c. Use Client Info as the caption for the label in the Report Header section. If necessary, resize the label so that the caption is fully visible. Save the ClientInfo report. 8. While still working in Design View of the ClientInfo report, add a sort order to sort the records in ascending order by ClientName to make it easier to find information. Save and preview the report, a portion of which is shown in Figure 2, and then close the ClientInfo report. (Hint: ClientList is the caption on the tab of the report because we copied from the ClientList report and never changed the caption) 9. Open the ClientList report in Design View and then complete the following: a. Expand the size of the Report Footer section to be about 1" tall. b. Use the Subreport Wizard to add a subreport control to the left side of the Report Footer section at approximately the 0.5" mark on the horizontal ruler. Base the subreport on the existing DriverList report. Choose None when asked which fields link the main report to the subreport. Use the default name for the subreport. Save, preview, and close the ClientList report. 10. Open the RouteList report in Report Design View and then modify it as follows to add identifying information: a. Add page numbers to the report using the Page N of M format positioned in the left side of the Page Footer. b. Add the date (but not the time) to the report using the Medium Date (07-Feb-29) format. Save the RouteList report. 11. With the RouteList report still open in Design View, complete the following: a. Adjust the Report Footer section to be about 0.5" tall. b. Add a text box to the right side of the Report Footer section directly below the Days text box in the Detail section. c. Within the text box, add an expression to sum the Days field for the entire report. d. Enter Total Days: as the caption for the new label in the Report Footer section. If necessary, resize the label to display the complete caption. 12. With the RouteList report still open in Design View, complete the following: a. Right-align the content in the Days text box in the Detail section and in the new text box in the Report Footer section. b. Right-align the right edge of the new text box in the Report Footer section with the Days text box in the Detail section.
