Isiah would go on to drop 21.3 ppg + 7.3 apg on 49% against the defending champ Lakers (top 10 defense) in the 1989 NBA Finals. Isiah had 11 assists in this game, but almost none of them were the result of Jordan playing bad defense. Most of them were simply because Isiah's teammates were hitting shots - which are included in this video to prove that point. Isiah couldn't drive past Jordan, and when he did Jordan led him into traps where Isiah had to give the ball up or turn it over. Jordan did all of this while also dropping 47-7-5 on 16/26 (62%) with 5 steals against one of the greatest defenses of all time, and hitting the game winner. Unlike Lebron who never consistently guarded Derrick Rose, (only 2 quarters of defense in 10 playoff meetings) Jordan guarded Isiah consistently and shut him down.
