He has received numerous international awards for dance and theatre and has presented his work across Europe, South America, and North America. He is well knows for his collaboration with the famous Austrian sculpture artist Franz West, with the sculptures of whom Ivo has created 2 stage productions presented in prestigious European Festivals. Ivo Dimchev is knows also as visual artist and very often along his performances and concerts festivals organise his exhibitions of paintings, photography and sculptures.
