Action 52 is a game collection for the NES from 1992, widely regarded as one of the worst games ever made. Developed by four developers with limited NES development experience over the span of three months, it is about as good as it sounds. Storm Over the Desert (also named The Land War in the manual) is the 36th game, where you play as a tank shooting other tanks and people, including a... giant Saddam Hussain. The game is very obviously based on the real life Operation Desert Storm, which for those two young to remember, was a UN-backed air/land invasion of Iraq in early-1991—led by the Americans, Brits, and Sauds—after Iraq had invaded and annexed Kuwait. According to the manual: "Using your tanks you must avoid the mine fields set by the evil army of Satán Hosain. The evil Satán’s army of soldiers will kill you or die trying."
