Swift Rebirth Prayer of HH Dodrupchen Rinpoche ༄༅། །མྱུར་བྱོན་གསོལ་འདེབས། Prayer for Swift Rebirth of the Fourth Dodrupchen Rinpoche, Tupten Trinlé Palzangpo by the Fifth Dodrupchen Rinpoche, Tupten Long-yang ཀྱེ་མ་ཧོ། kyema ho Kyemaho! སྐུ་གསུམ་གཅིག་རྫོགས་རྒྱལ་བ་འགྲོ་བའི་མགོན།། ku sum chik dzok gyalwa drowé gön Single, perfect embodiment of the three kāyas, victorious protector of beings, སྔ་འགྱུར་བསྟན་པའི་ཉི་མ་རྡོ༵་གྲུ༵བ་རྗེ།། ngagyur tenpé nyima dodrub jé Sun of the teachings of the Ancient Translations, lord Dodrupchen, ཐུ༵བ་བསྟ༵ན་ཉིན་བྱེད་ཕྲི༵ན་ལ༵ས་དཔ༵ལ་བཟ༵ང་པོ།། tubten nyinjé trinlé palzangpo Tupten Trinlé Palzangpo—'Glorious and Excellent Activity for the Sage’s sun-like Teachings' ཐུགས་རྗེའི་འཇུག་པ་མ་ལྷོད་དབྱིངས་ནས་དགོངས།། tukjé jukpa ma lhö ying né gong Do not relax your compassion, but consider us from the absolute sphere. བསྟན་པ་ཉིན་བཞིན་རྒུད་པའི་དུས་མཐའ་འདིར།། tenpa nyinshyin güpé dü ta dir You who are like the sun of the teachings in this final, degenerate age, བསྟན་པའི་དེད་དཔོན་ཁྱེད་ཉིད་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་གཤེགས།། tenpé depön khyé nyi chi chir shek You who are a captain at the teachings’ helm—why have you departed? རྒྱུ་འབྲས་བླང་དོར་ཆོས་སྤྱོད་མི་ཤེས་པའི།། gyundré langdor chöchö mishepé Now, ignorant of causality and of proper conduct, what to do and to avoid, མགོན་མེད་སྙིགས་དུས་འགྲོ་བ་སུ་ལ་རེ།། gönmé nyikdü drowa su la ré To whom can we, the protectorless beings of this degenerate age, now turn? རྩ་གསུམ་དམ་ཅན་སྲུང་མའི་ལྷ་ཚོགས་ཀྱི།། tsa sum damchen sungmé lhatsok kyi Through the unfailing power of truth and the blessings བྱིན་རླབས་བདེན་མཐུ་བསླུ་བ་མེད་པ་ཡིས།། jinlab den tu luwa mepa yi Of the Three Roots and hosts of guardian deities, མཚུངས་མེད་ཐུབ་བསྟན་ཕྲིན་ལས་དཔལ་བཟང་པོའི།། tsungmé tubten trinlé palzangpö May the emanation of the incomparable Tupten Trinlé Palzangpo ཡང་སྤྲུལ་འགྲོ་བའི་དཔུང་གཉེན་མྱུར་འབྱོན་སྩོལ།། yangtrul drowé pungnyen nyur jön tsol Swiftly return as a friend and protector to all beings. མདོ་སྔགས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་འཁོར་ལོར་དབང་སྒྱུར་བའི།། do ngak chökyi khorlor wang gyurwé May he swiftly return as a sun of the Heart-Essence teachings, སྙིང་ཐིག་བསྟན་པའི་ཉི་མ་མྱུར་འབྱོན་སྩོལ།། nyingtik tenpé nyima nyur jön tsol A mighty sovereign of the Dharma Wheel of sūtra and mantra. རིམ་གཉིས་རྣལ་འབྱོར་ལམ་གྱི་རྩལ་རྫོགས་པའི།། rim nyi naljor lam gyi tsaldzokpé May he swiftly return as a great wielder of the magic སྒྱུ་འཕྲུལ་མངའ་བ་ཆེན་པོ་མྱུར་འབྱོན་སྩོལ།། gyutrul ngawa chenpo nyur jön tsol Of the perfect strength of the path of two-phase yoga. སྐྱེ་བ་ཀུན་ཏུ་དཔལ་ལྡན་བླ་མ་ཡི།། kyewa küntu palden lama yi Throughout all my lives may I never be separated རྡོ་རྗེ་གསུམ་གྱི་གཤིས་དང་མི་འབྲལ་བར།། dorjé sum gyi shi dang mindral war From the nature of this glorious guru’s three vajras. ཀུན་ཀྱང་རིག་འཛིན་རྣམ་བཞིའི་ས་བགྲོད་དེ།། kün kyang rigdzin nam shyi sa drö dé May we all traverse the stages of the four vidyādhara levels ཚེ་གཅིག་ཟུང་འཇུག་སྐུ་མཆོག་འགྲུབ་པར་ཤོག། tsé chik zungjuk ku chok drubpar shok And attain the supreme kāya of union within a single lifetime! ཅེས་པའང་འབྲས་ལྗོངས་སྒང་ཏོག་གི་བླ་སྤྲུལ་གྲྭ་འབངས་རྣམས་ཀྱི་གཙོས་བླ་གྲྭ་མང་ཞིག་གིས་བསྐུལ་བ་བཞིན་རྡོ་གྲུབ་ལྔ་པའི་མིང་ཙམ་འཛིན་པ་ཀློང་ཡངས་ནས་ཇི་ལྟར་སྨོན་པ་བཞིན་འགྲུབ་པའི་མཐུན་འགྱུར་རྩ་གསུམ་བསྟན་སྲུང་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་སྩོལ། In accordance with requests from lamas, tulkus, monks and disciples in Gangtok, Sikkim—as expressed by several lamas and monks in particular—I, Longyang, who merely holds the name of the Fifth Dodrup, made this aspiration.
