Explore three common challenges to unleashing creativity in change averse environments that can sabotage your efforts – and what you can do to supercharge your own approach. NR4W Symposium 2023 Presenters included over 56 professional facilitators, business leaders, technologists, global change agents, and published scientists. Our common intellectual thread is a belief in the power of creative teams to change the world for the better. Presenter Kristin York Brennan Valued for her unique perspective and insight, Kristin helps others unlock their innate creativity and apply it with technical approaches. She draws on experiences across multiple professions from the world of architecture and design, the Department of Defense, to the fast-paced software-tech space. She has received multiple design and performance awards, including a White House letter of appreciation. With a honed approach to creative problem-solving she offers a unique blend of design thinking, change management, project management, process improvement, and strategy. Her approach has been tested in multiple cultural environments, particularly those that are highly analytical and change-averse. Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration Degrees from Virginia Tech’s College of Architecture and Urban Studies and Pamplin College of Business, respectively. She is a nationally and state certified interior designer and holds certifications in ergonomics, facilitation, FourSight, Six Sigma/Lean Six Black Belt, and Project Management. In her spare time, you can find her re-learning the art of negotiation from her 5-year-old daughter or finding a new art project for them to create. She is a Philadelphia, PA native and long-time Virginian where she lives with her husband and daughter in Northern Virginia.
