Some Republicans Believe The Capitol Riots Were Fake? Yes!

You might remember the Capitol Riot of January 6th, but did you know a high percentage of people believe this was a staged act? According to a recent poll of 1,000 people from Reuters, 50% of Republicans believe the siege was either a non-violent protest or the work of left-wing activists trying to make former President Donald Trump look bad. Also, 6 in 10 of Republicans who took this poll believe the election was stolen from former President Donald Trump and that he should run again in 2024. This same Reuters poll says that former President Donald Trump is still the most prominent figure in the Republican Party, leaving right wing members of congress with the question, “How Do We Reunite The Republican Party?” After the Capitol Siege, 147 GOP lawmakers voted against certifying the election results, and most voted to acquit Trump in his second impeachment trial. But, a few did not. This leaves us with this, the GOP will not win any future elections if it remains divided. The Republican Party will only gain more momentum if the GOP can be unified.
