This past June, I walked 500 miles across Spain on the Camino de Santiago — specifically the French Route, or Camino Francés — a pilgrimage that has been traveled by millions for over a thousand years. It begins in the French Pyrenees and winds through stunning Spanish landscapes, ancient villages, and countless moments of reflection, challenge, and growth. But this wasn't just a trek for me. I walked in honor of my grandpa, who completed the Camino twice — once in 2014 and again in 2016. His stories, faith, and adventurous spirit stuck with me, and after he passed, I felt called to walk in his footsteps, literally and spiritually. In this video, I share my experience on the Camino: the people I met, the moments that shaped me, and what it meant to carry my grandpa’s legacy with me across every step.
