hi deb, happy 28th birthday! I have been thinking about you a lot lately and the impact that you've had on the person I am. it's hard to figure out where to begin because when I look at myself ten years ago, I'm not the same person and you're not either. the way you've grown is a remarkable. you're so smart, so perceptive, so talented, so genuine and you have compassion unlike any other. there are many qualities in you which I admire and respect. I am inspired by your strength and the way you hold yourself. I admire your voice and how loud you can be against those who diminish the worth of others. I admire the way you hold people accountable for their actions. I admire the way you see things others may not. and you don't ignore those things, you acknowledge them. you give them a platform and a chance in the light. living in a world where there is a pandemic going on, you always have thought outside of yourself and that has been shown time and time again. you're not sitting on the sidelines, you're active and fearless. your voice has always been a shield for others, it was for me ten years ago, but the way you've utilized it during a time of great need is something that has been so powerful. you're a powerhouse. we have the same birthday (I'm sure you remember! 😜 ) so I have turned 25 today. at the age of 15, ten years ago, I did not have the nerve to speak my mind. I did not have the nerve to say "hello" to a stranger. but I find it funny how I was a babbling idiot when I met you. ten years ago. I literally could not shut up ten years ago. ten years ago, you made someone afraid, a little more fearless. your impact on me as a person is easily identifiable in my mind. each year since being a fan of you, I have grown in so many different ways. thank you for providing a safe space continually for fans. I think we don't mention that enough. you always have given platforms for us to speak and be heard. you haven't judged or criticized. you've listened when others wouldn't. you've made a lot of us more courageous and outspoken. I'm really excited for the projects that you have lined up. I hope you know that I'm always in your lane and always rooting for you. I'm so happy that you have found happiness and love. I think that's the most vital. thanks for consistently sharing that happiness and that love with us. thanks for the laughter. thank you for being the woman you are today.
