Celebrated a friend's Birthday at this new tapas bar restaurant in Oviedo on the Park. Right next to Center Lake, they serve unique small plate appetizers (tapas) on the menu including the Hibiscus Flower Tacos, $7 Happy Hour Cocktails, and they let the birthday girl celebrate with a fun Mexican hat! Food and Drinks we ordered that were featured in video: Trio Mexicano $9.25 Basically Chips and Dip. Guacamole dip, chile con queso dip and salsa. All the dips were delicious. Empanadas $10.95 These were a little different than typical Empanadas, it was really moist and delicious. These are homemade in the restaurant. Chillitos Rellenos $11.95 Stuffed sweet peppers with chorizo, corn, green onions and topped with mozzarella cheese served on top of some rice. This was so-so...I'm not that picky with food so it was fine, but not too memorable. House Margarita $7 Happy Hour Special Hibiscus Tacos Vegetarian tacos made from cooked Hibiscus as the "protein." Very interesting! Has a bit of a sweet, tangy taste to it. What tapas or drinks have you tried here that you recommend?
