Tilt Trim Not Working or outdrive stuck down? Here's something simple to try.

The tilt trim was not working in my boat and my volvo penta SM outdrive was stuck in the down position. The tilt trim wont go up and the switch in my boat did not do anything. In this video I realize that I do have a tilt/trim and it should be working! To get my boat safely stored in my yard for the winter, I NEED to raise the outdrive. So I look for some quick workarounds to see what's broken and if I can bypass the entire circuit to hot wire the motor to raise the outdrive to get it parked in my yard.
