✓ East Ham is a mixed cultural area, with a majority of South Asians, (but also African / Caribbean and Eastern European resident). On the stretch of the High Street recorded in this video there are many, many south Indian cafe type restaurants, eateries, spice & grocery shops. There is a large South Indian and Tamil population in and around this area. Now it transpires that Atlanta rapper 21 Savage was born in this area of London. Well worth visiting is Saravanaa Bhavan; a vegetarian Indian restaurant - it's a magical place where you can eat like a king at very affordable budget prices & the portions are of a good size.
