This video covers how to use the volume controls to improve your audio quality! Learn how to edit audio and adjust the levels. This tutorial will help you achieve better audio for sound quality! When you are recording tracks, there may be times when you want to emphasize a certain line or two or isolate lines. In this video lesson, I show you how to do both. Tips for Editing Volume 1) Make sure your Master Volume bar (upper right hand corner) stays out of the red zone. This will keep you from getting tracks that sound distorted. 2) To stay out of master red zone, you'll want to adjust the individual track volume levels. To the left of each track you'll see the individual volume bar. Drag and adjust according the balance you are looking for. (i.e. If you want the student to hear your demo vocal most predominantly, increase that volume bar and decrease the others.) 3) If you'd like to isolate tracks (i.e. Piano and Soprano, Piano and Tenor, Piano and Alto/Bass together) you simply mute the tracks you don't want to hear by pressing the volume button with a slash icon. As you can see, these features will save you lots of time as you can create one track but export multiple versions of it by adjusting volume and isolating tracks.
