Malaybalay - The Other Baguio: Kaamulan Park, Rizal Square & Unexpected Rain!

Hello Great Adventurers! In this vlog we explore Malaybalay, a peaceful city in the mountains of Bukidnon province. We started by visiting Rizal Square which we called Rizal Park by a mistake, followed by a quick stop for a snack and buko drink, passed by The San Isidro Cathedral. Unfortunately it was Sunday, so we did not get the chance to get inside as it was a mass time. After that we headed to Kaamulan PArk, where preparations were already underway for the Kaamulan Festival of 2026. With our luck we were unable to stay for the actual festival, but it was still really interesting to see the set up of everything around. Of course, no trip is complete without some fulfilling locally made meal - so we have stopped for a refreshing Halo-Halo at one of already made local Kubo-Style stalls. We spent the rest of the day just walking around and enjoying the brewing atmosphere... until suddenly (Malaybalay style), we got caught in a little rain that turned into more rain ;) Yet another simple but memorable adventure here in the amazing Philippines!
