Video by: @martijn_vandeputte starring @vdgdaan Words by Daan: With CONCREET we wanted to take skimboarding out of its context, creating one of the first skimboard street video parts ever! I went on a journey with my friend and filmer, Martijn Vandeputte, to find the most iconic skimspots of Bruges, Belgium. He filmed all the clips and edited them into a beautiful piece of art. We created the video last winter months after it rained. Because of the rain concrete and other hard surfaces became skimable. One of the reasons we came with this idea was because I wanted to bring the sport to a bigger audience. But the main reason was because it's fun to just mess around on wet concrete.
