THIS SONG WAS SO FUCKING FUN TO MAKE! Like the video says, I was inspired yesterday to make a fun pony hyperpop track after seeing some art that Cassettepunk had made. I worked for 10 hours straight on it and it was done in one day. It’s been a while since I’ve done something like that, what with working on Fairytails so much lately :( But thanks so much to Cassettepunk for inspiring this and allowing me to use the art for the song. The song is about a lot, a LOT of different things. Fuck cringe culture. Fuck 2020. Fuck a lot of things. I wanted to defy my 2016 “brony music rant” self and make a super gay, Pinkie Pie vocal chopped, bubblegum Hyperpop anthem to hopefully make light of a difficult year for everyone. I really wanted to capture what the 2010-2013 fandom music scene would sound like transported to 2020. I hope it helps to lift your spirits.
