"The days I visited Soraya's house, nothing resembled a home. They live in a hut that doesn't even have a roof. They have no shelter except for the cracked walls and a ceiling that leaks in the rain and cold. Soraya and her children face many hardships; not only are they struggling to light a fire, but they are always in need of warmth and food. On that same day, we found two orphaned children who were alone and stranded in these difficult conditions. With great effort, we managed to bring them to our shelter and together, we worked to create a safe place for them. But there is still a long way to go to provide a decent life for these dear ones.
