Since getting the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, I've tried to make it my primary camera and avoid using my iPhone 15 Pro Max in fear of color inconsistencies between footage. However, a recent trip to Okinawa made me realize that I'm really limiting myself by doing so. I've therefore been spending time trying to establish a setup that will allow me to seamlessly use iPhone footage alongside my Osmo Pocket 3 shots. 0:00 - Intro and Samples 0:52 - iPhone convenience 1:52 - D-Log M and Apple Log 3:34 - Manual color matching in DaVinci Resolve 5:34 - Using conversion LUTs 6:35 - Using the CineMatch plugin 8:15 - Cinematch - how quick? 9:50 - Matching 3 cameras While it's not perfect, I'm satisfied with how the colors lined up and I wanted to share my preferred approach that involves using Cinematch.
