This video is an update on the first batch of lumber in my make shift dehumification kiln. Sorry it has taken so long to to post the update. The drying process only took about 2-3 weeks. I am very pleased with how the process worked and will be building a more permanent structure soon. Your wood moisture content dictates what your temperature and relative humidity settings. For instance if my starting wood moisture content is 35%, I maintain a temp(dry bulb) of 100 and a relative humidity of 62%. Once I get wood moisture readings for the next tier(30% in this case), I increase the air temp and decrease the relative humidity. You keep working your way down the schedule until you reach the desired moisture content. The last step is 140 degrees for 12(ish) hours to sterilize the wood. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bICr...
