In this lesson, you'll use that to learn the division facts for the number 8. We read this as 48 divided by 8 is what number? This division statement means the same thing as this missing factor statement. In each case, we want to know what number multiplied by 8 is 48. Eight times 6 is 48. So 48 divided by 8 is 6. Thirty-two divided by 8. We ask ourselves, 8 times what number is 32? It's 4. So 32 divided by 8 is also 4. Fifty-six divided by 8 We ask ourselves, 8 times what number is 56? It's 7.
