Do you have existing shelves, but your storage needs have changed? Either way, wire shelving has you covered! Wire shelves can adjust on 1" centers, even after you've already assembled the unit! To adjust the shelf, all you need is a rubber mallet. Make sure everything is cleared off the shelf. Shelves will only raise if they are lifted evenly and kept level. To make sure that it lifts smoothly, maintain upward pressure towards the center of the shelf. Take your rubber mallet and tap the underside of each corner on the frame. You may have to work the corners a few times, but the upward pressure is key to keeping the shelf from re-attaching to the clip. Once the shelf is loose on all corners, lift it evenly along the posts. Decide where you need it to move place the shelf clips in that location. Use the notches in the post to ensure a level adjustment. Now, you can lower your shelf back into place and load up the rest of your storage! Thanks to adjustable wire shelving, you can always reconfigure your space to suit your need.
