Several weeks had elapsed since I had done any Parks on the Air activations or even operated the radio at all so my CW skills were quite rusty and I knew I needed to get out the the park to sharpen them up. It was definitely an activation to remember, fighting through QRM, RF burns, an antenna that wouldn't stay connected and an uncooperative logging device and a dead camera battery! But in the end it all came together, I activated the park and had a blast doing it! I used a new throw line kit that I had received as a gift. I really love my vertical whip, but many there's nothing like some wire in the air to get the job done! I hope you'll come along on the adventure with me!
