BB15 with all of its aggressive racism was the season that started the downfall of Big Brother. It is still to me the worst season of the US Franchise, and it is why we are stuck with the discourse we now are. Production could have and should have intervened (so Candice and Howie actually had a real chance to play the game) but instead they made no changes at all to the show until 8 years later. And to boot, The problematic behavior was not the only problem. It was the start of the vote with the house popularity, bad twists, and some bad gameplay. The competition reality genre may never recover from this season. People have tried to rewrite history, but here are the cold hard facts.
