Alright, today I'm sharing some thoughts on practicing at the shala in Mysore while working with discomfort in the body. While my recent personal experience is probably more accurately described as practicing with pain rather than "injury", being unable to comfortably move through the various movement patterns was similarly limiting and therefore set off a lot of the same mental & psychological processes. Hopefully my personal experience will be something that others can learn from, and develop a sense of comfort in working with the body in a wider variety of states - and to feel confident in doing so both at home and in a group.
