Happy New Year! As a book end to 2021, my family and I all got covid and had to isolate over Christmas. We are now in the clear and had mild symptoms (thank you vaccines!) I lost my sense of smell and taste which made early morning coffees much less enjoyable. It still hasn’t completely returned. Being cooped up inside for 10 days can make one go slightly squirrelly and so I’m happy to share an adventure I went on once I was free to leave my home. My friend asked if I’d like to join on a mudlark/beachcomb walk. I brought most of my gear just in case (no fins or weights because it was a long walk) and managed to find at least one interesting bottle. It was just good to get the exercise and get out.
